They dont like being called "female" because the female could be any animal. The first time I saw it blow up was a twitter post.
Dude said something about a female(taking her on a date or something) and one of the women responded saying "Female what? Deer? Dog?" Other women piled on about it
Imagine if Debbie stopped Craig from fighting Debo just to get on him for saying female instead of woman

It’s legitimate before. I’ve had numerous arguments with women In day to day life saying it’s sexist to say female because it speaks to them like they’re an object and not a person. I usually jokingly tell them they should be happy I’m not calling them a bytch or hoe. And that they should realize for a lot of us it’s just a part of our vocabulary and has no negative connotations behind it.

Yea I'm wondering what reaction you received with that joke.
Ppl know that it's a common way to refer to a woman but that doesn't really change the reason why many women have criticized it's usage. For example women don't say "males ain't shyt" when they have a gripe they still say "men". There's some negative coding in the way ppl have used female so that's really what it boils down to. No different than certain ppl using thugs being anti-black.

I wanted to add the big confusion comes when talking about women that are just friends. If I’m talking about women that are strictly friends I’ll describe them as female friends since the phrase “women friends” a lot of times is used to describe women that men are fukking.
Surf brings out energy on the pod. He should definitely show up every other week or so. I don’t think that they have the energy to hang with him every week.
