They weren't employees, they had a percentage based contract where they were paid a portion of the profits. They were within their rights to view the books so they could understand how they were getting paid. Joe fukked them over by causing unnecessary friction thinking they didn't deserve to see information he was obligated to show them. Then fired them after showing them the accounting, on top of threatening to sue them if they tried to start another podcast.
None of this shyt had to happen, all Joe had to do was do good business with his "brother's". Thats why I said the situation is like your employer refusing to show your pay stubs, then firing you for pushing the issue. Joe didn't even have a reason not to show the accounting, he wasnt hiding anything, he just wanted to be an a$$hole and little bro them dudes like Diddy.
Rather or not you like their performance on the podcast is a completely different discussion, I personally think Ice and Ish are better, but Joe was still wrong for how the situation with R&M turned out.
