I mean I get it, for someone that owns a lot of clothes, 6 pieces isn’t a lot



I have like 5 pairs of adidas and I can wholeheartedly say I’m not an adidas fan like that. 5 may sound like a lot until you realize my sneaker collection is like 70 deep and mainly Nike and New Balance

so it’s like yeah I have a few adidas items, but it makes up such an insignificant portion of my collection that it could cease to exist and nothing would change for me, whereas if a brand like Nike were to be pulled, my entire collection would be compromised

I think the difference is, 6 items from Gucci is anywhere from 4K-10k depending on what you got. That’s a lot of money for a product you supposedly don’t care for. That’s much different than a couple $30 joggers and hoodies that you might’ve just copped for regular gym and errand runs.

I do think it was a lot of cap in Joes stance though.. but I think the overall point was that if a brand like bottega or Amiri ceased to exist tomorrow, it would change shyt for Joe.. whereas with Gucci, it’s like yeah I have a few pieces but it’s largely insignificant to my wardrobe
