Joe don’t know the difference between value and price :bryan:
What’s the difference :usure:

This all depends on how you define stuff.
Intrinsic value, will be a theoretical price. Market value, will be the actual price. If we’re talking finance. shyt will get mad philosophical real quick if you deeper.

The bonus money with AB argument makes no sense whatsoever

The injury story makes no sense either

I get what Joe is saying and I kinda agree wit him. The price is whatever number somebody decides to sell something at, which can fluctuate. The value is what it was initially worth and that number never changes thus the value stays the same.

For the instance the value of that G-Wagon is the number the company originally set it out to be. However that number can change depending on whose selling it which is why Joe first asked “who am I buying it from?”.

No, its what everyone else on the pod was saying. Price is set by supply and demand value is determined buy potential buyers

Joe is a rich idiot; it would be different if he accepted when he was wrong. i almost didn't make it through the conservation of energy segment. he will pop off on a breh if he feels like his "intelligence" and fragile ego are being tested

Did he act like a toddler with Neil deGrasse Tyson or did he just listen?

I shut this off two minutes in, because both sides of the argument were fukking that shyt up, and I don't have the patience for nearly 17 minutes of that.

Using cars as an example is terrible, because pricing, even for brand new vehicles is fluid. That's why when you see a commercial from any manufacturer, they give you the MSRP, or Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. Even they know that price probably isn't holding up. The same vehicle can have five or six different prices, depending on the dealership, their location, their clientele, how hard it was for them to get that vehicle in stock, all kinds of shyt. But the price is literally just whoever's selling saying "This thing will cost you this much to buy". Value is subjective, and depends on the person that's going to make use of whatever thing it is they're going to buy, or if you're talking about yourself, what you bring to the table in return for what you're asking for.
