I doubt that unless you mean NYC is just Manhattan. Also, both live in Jersey. Also, 60k for 2 days a week to sit and talk shyt a few hours with your homies is like robbing a bank, especially when you still have your previous job/primary source of income in addition.

People overstate how expensive it is to live in NYC. I've lived in NYC for 35 years, LA for 3. Don't get me wrong, NY is expensive, but people are lying or uninformed acting like you have to make 6 figure to breathe here. If you're a single person, you can live fine on 60K. You can't live in a high-rise in Manhattan, or ball out, but you can find a nice 1 bedroom in a decent neighborhood in any borough. If you have a family, it'll be hard to survive on 60K, but if your spouse makes close to, or equal income, you'll be okay.
