White gentrifiers are usually super left wing, though. At least in New York, most of them would rather die than vote for a conservative

Not always true. The stats often say when the candidate is one black and one white even liberal whites will vote for the white candidate.

They have even said that is what is going on in atlanta now.

I agree and Midtown is home to a sizable group of ppl who are socially liberal at the least. I don’t think anyone has a true answer but there definitely been a shift in the city that has spilled into politics just like the presidential election.

The metro is growing at crazy rate and companies are vying to be apart of it but no one knows where this city is really headed right now.

Da city where the skinny nikkas die
How??

Tariq Nasheed and all these 'don't vote' morons.

Niqqas just simple and plain fukced that up by being somewhere high like "fukc I need to vote for?"

Y'all better get real.

This is false. even Tariq advocates voting locally. I'd bet Atlanta folks vote on par with any other region when it comes to local elections. Maybe even more this go round.
Blacks in Atlanta had all these years to buy up properties. Don't put that blame on cacs now because y'all nikkas was cool w/ just renting and shacking up in government controlled housing. And I'm pointing the finger at blacks w/ money too. White folks played the long game. nikkas too short sighted.

bruh wtf are you even talking about? most black people I know BEEN on the property tip. this aint NY or SF where you can't own shyt, everybody tries to buy out here. The problem is that people are getting priced out by even richer cacs. the areas that are hot right now are going for a shyt ton of money. how are we supposed to compete with Tucker and Madison whose parents give them $100K cash to put towards a house? :mindblown: Also, a lot of folks were hurt negatively by the last housing bubble.

So the logic is all over the place when it comes to him and that subject.

nah it's simple. vote locally. You can actually hold those politicians more accountable and it DIRECTLY affects you. if you mobilize right, you can really get some shyt done. his stance on not voting nationally was to make either candidate come out and directly say they'll support black initiatives. Obviously that didnt happen (and would be hard to make happen on a national level)

i can't say I agree with it but I'm a firm believer in that a politician should have to earn your vote.
