the 7 doesn't seem like a big enough update for me to warrant purchasing another phone. I already got the 6s, so I'm good for the time being.

the 7 is supposed to be an incremental increase on the 6s and the 6. it's the same design and probably comes with a better camera and processor as usual. but no new features really. I mean you would get force touch cuz you have a 6, but it has nothing for me really.

the 8 comes out in 2017 which supposedly supports wireless charging, and it will have a major design change which is rumored to having the phone going back to an all glass front and back.

If yall haven't already, check out that word flow keyboard, from msft, in the app store. has a really good one handed mode and you can even custom keyboard background.

yeah although my 6 Plus' battery has held on well but my iPad from the same time has a very noticeable battery life

its expected now a days with these devices

best bet is a battery case or try your hand at replacing the battery

Breh your iPad doesn't search for a cell phone tower all day like the iPhone does...that's one thing that drains the battery. If your phone had wi fi all the time then it would last longer too

I thought the S joints were normally the incremental improvements and why would they drop the 7 and 8 only be a year between each other.

they're not going with an S version after the 7 drops.

and to be honest, the S versions usually have the same look as the numbered version but with better features or a significant feature upgrade. for instance, the 4S introduced siri. the 5S introduced the touch ID. the 6S introduced force touch and improved wifi/LTE.

Wireless charging? They make a killing selling those charging cables that barely last 6 months, they'll probably come up with some fragile device that comes with the new iphone in which will break easily and force you into buying a new one.

yeah but i want real wireless charging, like an area. put my phone anywhere on my desk or in my car and it'll charge, no mat, no pad. Right now w/a cable at least it'll charge while you use the phone. Use a wireless pad, pick it up and it stops charging. Solution in search of a problem.
