An iphone camera cannot replace a point and shoot or a dslr. Unless your main focus is posting pics on facebook, the iphone camera is inadequate.

But everyone has their own preferences i guess. If the iphone camera is sufficient for your needs go for it. But lets not act as if the iphone camera makes the dslr obsolete.
