I was trying out the force touch shyt on the 6s at the apple store. It's handy but why are folk with a 6 buying the 6s? I'm thinking about copping a 6 which is cheap right now....and grabbing the 7 when it drops next year.

Because its better to roll over the majority of the value of the 6 into the 6s then roll that over into the 7. If I can get $500 for this unlocked iPhone 6 128GB then my final cost for the 6s will be $240 after the Discover Promo. I Next year I sell the 6s and get the 7.

your wireless carrier should be able to provide you insurance against loss or theft. theres a deductable however. i've also heard of third parties that do the same for various prices and levels of coverage.

most of the US carriers only allow 2 claims a year. tbh i get drunk and leave my phone in stupid places so i have no trouble paying the $10 monthly and the deductible when its lost.

the moment someone pops out that simcard or disconnects that phone from the internet find my iPhone doesnt mean shyt.

at least when you file a claim they block the imei on the phone so it basically turns into a fancy ipod.

A banned imei doesn't mean shyt. That's why people clone phones. Find my iPhone remotely bricks the device itself by iCloud locking it. Even Apple can't unlocked an iCloud locked device with out the Apple ID and Pass.

Battery life on the 6s is better than what I was getting on the 6 or what I get on my S6.

Once again, i went through all those steps.

In an instance when find my iphone can't be used to physically retrieve the phone however, i'd like to have a backup plan. Hence insurance.

I have the TSMC chip
