yo, was the ios update anything major today? or was it pretty much nothing? I didn't really notice a difference when i did it.

here's whats new

Apple releases iOS 6.1 with more LTE carrier support, Siri/Fandango movie ticket purchasing, iTunes Match song downloading | 9to5Mac

there are a few tweaks that have been updated or are new which are made for the newer iOS devices

yo my iphone 5 battery is weak


ive seen it go from 10% to 5% in a minute? im at 5% now after 6.5 hours usage/ 9 standby

wtf is this

Let it die completely, then hook it up and DONT unplug it until its around 95-100%

Then keep it off and dont plug it in until you get around 20-30%. After that charge until 80% and just cycle it like that. You should have way better life doing that. And also turn off the shyt you dont use. Once the jailbreak comes out ill put you on to some other stuff that will help you out.

what I meant was tweaks that are specifically made for the more powerful devices available now

like Auxo was only available officially for iOS 6 and though you could install it on the older devices it was really made for the more powerful ones

last time I had my ipad jailbroken I didnt even install anything but this time I can wait to install ManualCorrect cause I cant stand it messing up what I write

6.1 really inproved my battery life. i did all those thigns before i updated

Dope!! I gotta experiment and see whats up with my battery life. I havent tested it out in a real world setting yet

No service cuz I'm in my basement lol

I turned off LTE and turned my brightness down but everything still a go.

I restored from my jailbroken 5.1.1. backup that had apps from installous that were synced and on 6.1 they wont work obviously and they kept trying to validate themselves thus always using my connection. Once I took care of that things have been good.
