Why are you trying to connect to the iTunes store? If you have another computer you should see if that computer recognizes the iPhone. I think that cable holdin you back since its messed up.

Maybe, but the reason why I"m skeptical is because this same cable recognized iTunes yesterday
Its the same cable I jailbroke/unlocked with

After I attempted to put the newer IOS is when everything stopped working
And like I was saying, every program except for iTunes is recognizing it
If you STILL think its the cable, I'll buy one tomorrow morning.

Also, I did the HOST erase thing. That didn't work
I ran diagnostics in iTunes and everything came back straight except for the last test which was "Secure link to iTunes failed"

The 2 that passed was,

Network Interface
Internet Connection

It gave me the option to click on "help" next to the "secure link to iTunes failed"
I did that.. it loaded for a second, then said I didn't have an internet connection
My internet connection is fine tho. Not sure what thee fukk is going on
I'm running out of ideas except for redsnow and downgrade
But as I already put up, my baseband is not ideal. I guess I'm fukked for a few weeks?
If thats truly the case, please say that so I stop trying.

Ok, my dumbass didn't even finish the diagnostic test.
On the "Device Connectivity" Test it passed everything except for "No iPad/Phone/Pod found"
This was under the "ports" section
Only two sections here are Support services and Ports
Under Ports it says "USB verified" "FireWire port verified" "No iPhone/Pad/Pod found"

When the diagnostic was done, in the report it did say my firewall didn't have itunes open
Problem is, my firewall did have it open once I checked it. (windwos firewall)
I then hit the add button, it had another itunes logo in there, I accpeted it
Now I got two iTunes boxes to check (which I did)
Thats where I'm at with everything, I'll check back later I guess

Is it really that dark at time? The new jailbreaks are already leaking on a daily basis. Only a matter of time before it stabilizes

I just tried to update my iPhone 4 to iOS 6. When it was installing, an error came up that said it couldn't be installed on my phone and now iTunes is saying I have to restore my phone. Can anyone help with this?

Got it, thanks. I was worried I would lose everything. Basically just wipe out all of the music I had on there, so that's kind of a pain.
