I bought a new 4S from a reseller (I am not from the US). Model MC924LL.
The box was unopened and had AT&T sticker on it and sim inside. I already bought iphones from this dude so he is trusted but when i saw AT&T sticker I am like what the fukk is this locked shyt you giving me here.
He was like lets activate this shyt right here if you dont trust me
. So I inserted my sim of a local operator and it worked. Still do.The problem is MC924LL model is listed everywhere as AT&T locked.
Can you explain this phenomena please?
EDIT - I've just checked IMEI status and it said locked too.
