This is perfect for anyone looking to build a small form factor HTPC and do some high end gaming too.

ASUS unveils GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini graphics card destined for little rigs

I was worried that the full GTX 670 I bought wouldn't fit in my Lian-li PC-Q08B case. Good to know I would have had this to fall back on if it didn't.
seems like overkill for a HTPC. i hooked my gaming PC up to my 55 inch LG and use the old 42 inch Vizio as a second monitor / second TV as the cable box can plug up to both TVs. there's really no reason to not be able to plug your real PC up to a TV.

If you're looking to build a hybrid HTPC/Gaming PC like I did, I think it's worth it. The mini ITX case I bought has enough room for my full GTX 670 card, but if it didn't, this would have been the card to get.

If you're looking to run a HTPC for XBMC solely to stream your content from your NAS/Plugins then you may want to keep an eye on the development of the Android branch.

As you know there's a myriad of Android based devices from Pivos Xios DS through to the upcoming Ouya games console that can run XBMC decently (compared to how the rPi run's XBMC) that may be a cheaper option for some of you who don't need the PVR functionality. Around the $100 mark or even less...

You could have XBMC as a secondary function of the device and use them as intended or just g'head and use them solely for XBMC, foregoing their original purpose.

Word of warning however, if you're interested in the RetroPlayer branch of XBMC I believe there's ongoing issues with sound when use RetroPlayer for ROMs when running XBMC on Android, atm.

Just sayin.

Under normal circumstances I'd say expensive but for coming in at 4" x 4" it may have its uses. The processor is down clocked pretty bad so it's not like you'd be using it for more than just some web browsing, documents, or HTPC use.

yea my only grip with it is the storage option on it , i wish it came with 1TB storage , would be :wow:

I completely overlooked storage, :mindblown:

Believe it can only use MSATA drives so options are limited and pricey. I'd say its not worth it at all since you'd be nearing $400 for a decent size MSATA SSD. At that price I'd just build inside an Antec ISK-110.

yall aint fukking with SuperRepo?

it has all that shyt combined into one repository

1. Install the SuperRepo Repository for XBMC - SuperRepo.org | SuperRepo.org

:myman:

Props, I had something similar installed some time ago and could never find it again.
