Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I have to look into this. How do you get the content to your TV(s)? Wired or wirelessly?

You can build a cheap HTPC and just have it hooked up to your TV, easy to put one together for less than $500.

You can also buy something like an Apple TV and run XBMC on it, not sure how well it would play 1080p content though but those are dirt cheap.

As far as I know you can't get XBMC interface on the Roku, you might be able to get file listings but they would need to be on your PC, so you wouldn't be able to stream content from XBMC add-ons.

I got a Logitech Harmony 510, can I use that to control the XBMC? I've also got all of my HD movies (about 710 of them) loaded up on external hard drives. How well does XBMC play with removable storage?

Thinking about moving the Hub to the bedroom and building one of these for the livingroom :ohhh:

The fukk you been waiting for. It plays great with externals. Most my archive is hooked up via an external to USB3. Before that I had it streaming from my main PC via network. Having that many movies available via XBMC's interface with say PseudoTV would be cray.

As far as your remote, if it can control Windows Media Center it can control XBMC. I'm pretty sure it can control WMC.

How easy is everything to control once you got everything setup? My girl can turn on the wdtv and get a movie going with ease. She ain't tech savvy at all, so I can see her being lost with this shyt :russ:

Once everything is set up its pretty self explanatory. Sit, pick what you want to watch, enjoy.

With PseudoTV though shyt makes channels based on the diff categories of your movies and tv shows which you can then flick through and shyt feels like you're watching cable minus the commercials.
