How is it that nowhere in this thread anyone has mentioned how hard Douglas Stamper is? He is my favorite character on the show, although the slight mystery surrounding his methods helps lead to that. Adds to the mystique.

Crazy that this show has us rooting for a guy who is willing to kill in cold blood to advance his career, but the whole point is that EVERYONE is just out for themselves, there is no one else to cheer for.

Low key him and remy (the black loobyest) the best characters outside frank. Stamper has an even colder, sinister method to him. And his loyalty is I wonder if this mirrors the real washintong. Like is obama as clueless as the president in this show.

But this is an excellent show. I been off netflix for a while but I gave this a try even though I was hesitant (political shows are boring to me and I disliked orange)

Spacey just be winning too much for me.Theres no real suspense with this show

I'm only 4 or 5 episodes in but its been the same shyt every episode

Does this dude ever take a L or anything close to it? Seems like he just out smarts everyone and wins every episode

I have little reason to continue with this unless someone can vouch that it gets better.

It does get better
I don't see it as a political show
That's just the setting
I enjoy the writing and the fukkery

Kevin Spacey wouldn't have done it if it was going to flop. It's basically like a puzzle and it all comes together towards the end. If you're not into political thrillers then why bother in the first place.

But I see it beyond the politics
I just see it as someone taking revenge

Could've been at McDonald's
Joe didn't get the promotion he was promised
He plots revenge to take everyone involved down
