I know in a lot of Amapiano songs there are very similar effects used across many tracks.

Ameer is the truth....when I saw him play for the first time i was thoroughly impressed...he can hold his own with the veterans and he's been killing it in Jersey so it's good to see him getting that out of state love

I completely missed your original post. Im only noticing it now. "Amapiano" is a sub-genre of House music. Its basically Afro soul sound mixed with lots of piano melodies, hence House heads in SA started calling it AmaPiano. I hope that makes sense.


EDIT: found an article with one of the pioneers of the sound. he explains it perfectly together with its origins: “THE PEOPLE NAMED IT AS AMAPIANO” MFR SOULS ON CUE, EXCLUSIVE MIX | Cue Mag
