Bro, you got any intel on that South African soulful-afro house? Some examples below:
"Uzongilinda - Rancido Deep Journey Mix" by Qness
"Charlotte" by Prince Kaybee
"No Prison (Chymamusique Soulful Remix)" by Chymamusique and Rona Ray
"Amahloni - Chymamusique Remix" by Stones & Bones
"Ulithemba Lam - Brazo Wa Afrika Remix" by DJ Phat Cat
I just have a soft spot for when soul music is mixed with afro house. Sure, the women in South Africa were nice but the music was ridiculous. My entire week in South Africa was a movie and house music was the soundtrack. I swear I've never used Shazam so much in my life.
I've been going through dudes like Avee and African Jackson on Youtube to find new heat. My one gripe with South African house, especially Soweto house is that a lot of it is underground, so you really gotta be in the know to know
So many tracks in Jo'Burg I wasn't able to ID because they were underground tracks
It's all good though. Summer 2019, South Africa Pt. 2.
Jozi, your boy coming back
PS: Breh, if you can ID the tracks from 12:00 - 17:00 and 30:00 - 36:00 in this video you'll make my week.
13:13 - 14:20 on this video. The sound...it's just so pure. Reminds of this track I was listening to going from Jo'Burg to Pretoria on the Gautrain. The memories
There are plenty of SA house songs like those you listed. I will give you recommendations when I have time during the week. For now i'll just make your day by telling you that the song in 30:00 - 36:00 is a mix of this one:
enjoy
Bonus:
totally forgot about this breh, but here u goThem recommendations breh
