Anybody here take a satellite dish off their roof before and patched it up? Did you DIY or hire someone?

I'm getting estimates around here for $350-500 and that seems high for what would seem like a relatively quick job. :picard:

we waited until we got a new roof, because then when they strip it all the way back, thats the best time to do so. Otherwise you can have them do a "quick" job and have a slow leak develop.

Philly
I own 3 investment properties in Philly

Closed on a crib in DE on Mon...$590k sale price, put 20% down, 3900 sq ft, .5 acre lot

Sellers put me through hell...didn't want to make any repair noted in the inspection so I negotiated a credit by threatening to walk away

Got the crib deep cleaned today, top to bottom, by Esperanza & Juana for only $400 :blessed:

Now I gotta tackle the landscaping to get it up to my standards

I'm buying a new Samsung OLED for the basement

I'm buying patio furniture in the spring for the deck

Best part of the new crib is the school district I'm in...they spent $155M on the elementary, middle & high school my kids will be attending in a few yrs

My background is in Finance, I'm making 3 extra payments a yr. I'm putting 50% of every tax return & work bonus toward the principal

Anybody ever get rid of landscaping rocks before? Our new place has no actual yard, front or back, just landscaping rocks everywhere and there are A LOT.
I would keep it.

Zeroscape lawns>>>

NO maintenance, no water, succulents, etc.

Thats what we are doing when our house is done.

It's a pain in the ass to walk on and looks terrible. I don't want grass either. I just want dirt and mulch everywhere with a stone walking path throughout.

Plus, these people put this tarp over the entire property, front and back and it's showing. Weeds are a bytch to pull out too.

Makes it a lot easier:

You can a lot with zeriscape lawns:
