The Grammys LOVE this white girl

2020 was supposed to be an off year for her and she still took home awards. If her next album drops before August, she's a 2-1 chance to dominate next year's ceremony.

It’s so cringy when award winners wax poetic over another nominee about how they should of won instead (unless it’s someone whose dead)

I appreciate the honesty. If they really don't think they should have won and want to pay tribute to one of the other nominees, I let them do it. Besides, all it does is let the Academy know they fukked up....again.

Adele bowing down to Beyonce in 2017 was a moment because she said what people were already thinking.

Even if Beyonce won that award it woulda been dirty. Like I said, this was supposed to be the Weeknd's coronation and it was over some petty shyt. The major awards just have this asterisk over it (not the fault of those who won) but this was the night where the Weeknd walked away with 8 Grammys and we reminisce on how he was making House of Balloons 10 years ago and we marvel at how far he's come. Bittersweet evening.


I can't really hate on who won in the rap/R&B related categories though.

My friend said that Weeknd wasn't nominated for anything because the Academy knew Taylor was winning AOTY and didn't want any uproar. They were protecting him.

But with that in mind, I thought this was going to be Dua's night. She was one of the most promoted artists in the weeks leading up to this show. It's like what Eminem said: They were dropping hints that Dua was going to take home everything and she only won one award (Best Pop Album). What doesn't make sense is that Taylor was also up for Best Pop Album, so wouldn't they have split the pop vote and AOTY ends up going to someone else?
