You gotta understand bro. The Grammys was one of those programs that my whole family watched when I was a kid. I remember vividly the year that ODB went up there and proclaimed Hip Hop was for the children and I had to explain to my mom who he was

I remember when we were all rooting for India Arie that year (my mom was a HUGE fan) and she lost all her nominations

I remember when Eminem performed with Elton John and having to explain to my pops why it was such a “big moment”

I remember when Outkast won AOTY and being here in Atlanta how proud the entire city was of them. The next two months you might as well have called ATL Kastville...


I just have really fun “Grammy moments” that I remember.
