i recommend you watch Red Dragon , like now if you haven't seen it. its not as good as manhunter and pretty much the same but the first setup scene is awesome and the only improvement on the original other than hopkins being in it.. but fiennes is creepy as fukk as dh too.

and the ending of Red Dragon follows the book whereas Manhunter ends before that

Yeah Ive seen it before. I probably do like Manhunter a little more mainly for Mann's direction and the 80s vibe it gives. Some of the editing during the Dolarhyde shootout was though. Straight 80s B movie status

I like Fiennes in Red Dragon but I think I prefer the Dolarhyde character in Manhunter just because he gave off more of a sexual deviant vibe. Its been a while since I've watched Red Dragon but I remember Fiennes character as appearing way more mentally unstable.


Not a huge fan of Cox's Hannibal but . Hopkins has obviously since become iconic and Mads as a lot more material to work with.

I'm still under the impression that Will is doing all this to capture Hannibal.
Maybe Will was able to subdue her and explain why she saw that jaw in his freezer.
Keep her "missing" and make Hannibal believe Will killed Freddie so they can eat her thus making Hannibal put even more trust into Will?

But what about Hannibal chilling in that plastic suit just prior to Freddie arriving at Will's house? Was he suppose to be inside Will's house?
