This is my locs about 3 weeks ago after I did that deep ACV rinse. My hair shafts felt so soft and looked very smooth for weeks.

I was going go get retwisted tomorrow morning but the shop talking about they ain't have no openings so now I'm stuck for a few days since I work. I may go ahead and shampoo and condition my hair on my own and just leave it at that.

I haven't had that prettyboy look in a while so I'm skraight.

My hair is relaxed (although I've been without a perm since November) and it's been in senegalese twists since February 9th with about a half inch of new growth. It was past my ear before I twisted it might be right above my shoulder if I flat iron it good.

I'll more than likely keep it in twists because with my job and this summer heat it's the best option to keep my hair healthy.

Dread heads,I got a question. My hair was about 16 inches, would it have made more sense to get it dreaded when it was that long ?Cause I cut it off and started from scratch instead.

It basically helps remove built up gunk from hair products that's been used on your locs over time such as gels, waxes :gag: and other things not fit for locs.

When I did it, I noticed my hair got a little darker, felt lighter, felt clean and was less coarse than before. My hair texture feels wavier at the roots.

It would've been easier to just loc it rather than cut from scratch because once you first loc your hair it takes time, months even for your hair to mat together and stay loc'd.

SINY!!
My hair texture changes...it goes from wavy to straight up nappy as it grows out.....as for facial hair....I havent done a straight up goatee in years. I had thin spots on my face, and no barber as skilled as he is could make it look fluid. I just run a chin strap. I go to my barber 1x a week, and try to maintain the facial hair myself in-between visits.

I used to use a lot of hair products to give it that shiny, wet look

Puerta Medusa.
I've been living in hair hell since childhood.

Top pic: me as a kid, 10 minutes after flat ironing. Lol.
Bottom pic: me a couple of days ago after a deep conditioner, some coconut oil and a premature twist out.
