I went to go online, and it said the Rockstar Cloud servers are unavailable or something. I proceeded and it took me to the character select screen, where it didn't show my character and my bank account was empty.

I went to the Rockstar Social Club website and my character still shows up. I guess that's the way to check if you still have your dude.
