They had two weeks breh.

It sucks but if you think about it though its not even in their best interest to have enough server space to make the launch super smooth. The amount of people trying to get on the server (s) now will almost certainly be the peak for the game's history. After this week the number will settle down into something that can plan and budget for.

Whether we like it or not that costs money for them to have servers up and it will pretty much be a waste of money for them to buy servers that make launch smooth and then have them just sitting out there after that.

I will never understand why developers don't do betas more often to prevent things like this from happening, this could have easily been prevented. I slept all night at work so I wouldn't be tired for this :snoop:.

:dead: @ pass for the bar for IT guy. I know about VMware and I agree they could just use it. My point is that they would still have to pay for a level of service that they would likely never have to match again. My cousin used to work at their parent company TakeTwo. From what she told me those dudes are always looking to chop expenses.

I don't think they are too concerned about first day outages especially when dudes will be on crackhead status to play it until it works.

It's still :beli: that the servers aren't up but I never really expected them to be.
