If you're in that mission later on, make sure the person flying lands on the highest building. Snipe the dudes up top, land where they were taken out and slowly make your way down. When the heli comes either have someone snipe the pilot or have a team member in the heli waiting.

I'm tempted to cop a mic, but I'm sure they're over 30 bucks.
