This new event is dope and it's actually pretty damn difficult. I can get 3k points solo but 4k I'm gonna need co-op. It's just not possible to deal enough damage in that short a time frame with all those limitations on you.

i'm not upgrading to a ps5 just for genshin impact

crossplay between platformms is bigger than anything else for me tbh

sell that PS4 and it will pay for half of the PS5. You’re also going to enjoy a bunch of other titles running better and be future proof. There’s also shyt like Demon’s Souls, etc

i got a PC - a nice one at that

if they implemented crossplay, i'd have my account on ps, pc, AND mobile. but as is, its tied to only sony. nobody in their right mind would buy a PS5 to play a slightly better version of genshin impact with those same restrictions (and it still wouldn't be as good as it is on PC). not hating or anything its just not practical. i still follow all the news of the game its just disappointing that there's not progress on that front.

hot keying items, sensitivity stuff, other options - its just a better experience. especially since i use a scuf and can further mod controls (why i'm not coming back to destiny 2 on console for example)

i'm not touching a PS5 for anything that reaches backwards. after seeing these lineups too.... lol there's no way i'm buying a PS5 until they get a real lineup of actual next gen games and not some marketing built on backwards compatibility and slight upgrades. that's a whole tangent though. not hating on anyone who is an early adopter but i'm not buying a new console when the current game could simply be optimized better on the platform it currently exists on. even avengers is more responsive than genshin impact on ps4 at this point and that's just wild to me (and they need crossplay too)

hoping that either there's a new player campaign sometime soon or there's news on the crossplay front is all.

I'm that you can't join the event already in a group, like artifact dungeons, etc. And I don't think getting 4k is possible solo. Even streamers need at least one other person.

I dunno the whole co-op thing in this game is kinda goofy. Unless you got an extensive friend list you can't just randomly grab people to help out. 90% of the time people don't want you coming into their world (and to be fair, I don't either....I get invites left and right but I'm already doing other shyt most of the time) so I'm not sure how this is supposed to work.

The rewards don't seem worth it to me. Should've offered primos instead of the mora and little upgrade materials. Plus like you said the co-op in this game is ass.

I mean....honestly I need all that shyt. Missing some mora and a couple books from each reward tier (which is basically the difference between 3k and 4k points) ain't gonna kill me but any extra loot be it $, talent books, or EXP books would be nice.

Noelle + any element = Crystallize, makes a shield for your character.

Sucrose + any element = area damage.

Xingqiu or Barbara + Chongyun or Kaeya = Freeze and Shatter, stops them in place and deals high physical damage.

Lisa or Fischl + Chongyn or Kaeya = Super Conduct, which is defense down for enemies.

Amber + Lisa or Fischl = Overloaded, causes an explosion.

Amber + Xingqiu or Barbara = Vaporize, which does additional damage. 1.5x for pyro and 2x for hydro.

Xingqiu or Barbara + Lisa or Fischl = Electro Charged, does constant electro damage.

Chongyun or Kaeya + Amber = Melt, which deals additional damage. 1.5x for ice and 2x for fire.

As far as the characters you have, Sucrose, Xingqiu, Fischl, Kaeya and Chongyun are the best. Build any team around them.
