It's fun, big as hell and free. It has things you can spend money on but it's not essential to doing any of the content.

No harm in trying it out.

Again, if you can do all the content in the game (like Enviosity) without spending a dime then choosing to spend money because you ran out of resin isn't "intrinsic" to the game design.

Is it ideal? No.

Does the resin system suck? Yes.

Both of those things aren't necessarily related to the gacha aspects of the game though.

Why?

Because again, and hopefully for the last time....if you can do all the content in the game without min-maxing (like Enviosity) then Tectone or Tenha blowing $200 to refresh their resin, weekly, so they can min-max....is obviously not essential. It might shave a couple minutes off a Spiral Abyss run, that's it.

It goes back to what I was telling @Khalil's_Black_Excellence. My Eula can do 500k damage no problem. The highest HP an enemy has ever had, is 2 million. In a limited event, with +175% HP turned on which you didn't even need to clear out the shop.

The gacha system sucks, artifact farming sucks, the resin system sucks....but you do not need to spend money or min-max in this game, at all, to do any of it.

This has nothing to do with what I said, and I believe you're just angling (not arguing) in bad faith at this point It's OK to have misunderstood something and responded out of turn. We do not need to do this dance where I say A and you keep responding as if I'd said B breh.

my statements were:

• the game and it's gameplay systems, like any other gacha, are intrinsically tethered to the gacha nature of the game
• progression in this game and its rate/lack thereof, and gameplay systems are tethered by resin, intrinsically. That's to say it's core to the design from inception. Natural = intrinsic.
• gacha and progression gatekeeping/time gating systems have a symbiotic relationship, they don't exist in a vacuum in this context
• min-maxing is literally progression. if you're refreshing resin to min-max, you're refreshing resin to progress. and don't think this is limited to "content creators".

At no point did I say spending money is a must, yet you keep harping on this. The same way you keep harping about "content creators" as if they're the only people interested in min-maxing and meaningful progression (I've even stressed rate of said progression, which speaks for time investment and constraints). Stop it 5.

I'm not interested in a conversation on the merits of said systems. I'm merely stating they are what they are.

Guess I lucked out because I had a shyt ton of EM artifacts since I was focusing on Crit Rate/Damage stats. So dude was an easy build for me. Let me know what you think of him once he's finished.

I'm roughly 10 pulls from soft pity on both the weapon banner and the character banner.

Got 86 wishes saved up already, just from playing the game.
Not guaranteed a 50/50 win on the character banner though. Or the weapon banner, obviously.

At the very least I can get a Baal with the wishes I have saved up. But fukk that, I want the weapon too.

Two different leakers have said the order of banners from now to December will be Raiden -> Kokomi -> Yae -> Ganyu -> Hu Tao -> Albedo.

I'm going after Ganyu and if you all don't have Hu Tao I suggest you save for her, she's one of the best DPS in the game. I'll probably go after another Staff Of Homa too.

Oh, it's not that I CANT do it, I just cleared all those "challenges", it's just this shyt trash from how it used to be.

Max daily EXP, gotta in-game purchase upgrades, some got nothing but fleet footed things... Straight trash

Only able to get 3 stars on Abyss lvl 12. My max damage is only like 110k
