If the car is dominant and he gets wins the team will prioritise him, it isn't a big deal, he just needs to dominate. The team isn't stupid.

It still would have been team orders but he could have baited Piastri into a mistake and had a better moral case to make. But it makes absolutely no sense why McLaren kept on looking backwards at Lewis when it was clear he didn't have proper pace to fight.

Feels like Lewis was an excuse for the Norris undercut IMO, after his first stint, he was no longer a threat for McLaren.

Norris should have either given the position right away or said fukk it and take the race. He did neither and he gets the negatives of both outcomes (lost the race and made himself lookd bad to the team) smh
