Toto seems to believe that things will balance back out. You gotta lobby for your team and the tech they have.

Yep. And Horner was doing it when RB still could reasonably challenge for wins here and there. Toto being silent while RB dusts the grid on long stint softs with no tire deg is horrible.

You really think he won't lose a race?

I said could. But today was win #55 with 23 races left. There will be another 24 or 25 next season. Even winning 19 or 20 per season across the next two seasons puts him really close.

He has it too easy. All he has to do is make sure he nails down qualifying (stay in top three) and not do anything stupid at the start of races.

I don't like it either, but that's what they want, it seems.

Toto did cause a regulation change in 2022 with TD39. Nuked Ferrari’s season immediately. Given that Ferrari was the team closest to Red Bull, it was a Pyrrhic victory.

The reg change wasn’t because of Horner. After 2 years it was clear the cars were fast but had no ability to race. Standard rule change like every 4-5 years.

Unlike past eras, its damn near impossible to spend yourself out of the development hole. The cost cap is whats keeping Max out front. Almost every team was in favor of it.
