fukk outta here.

Lewis one of the shining examples of the modern black athlete and is one of the reasons I've continued to watch F1.

You calling into question my blackness over my opinion reeks of Coli militant bullshyt. Lewis himself focused on the here and now while you sitting there crying about a race damn near 2 years ago. You'd think you'd follow Lewis's lead and adopt at least some of his mental toughness but its clear you would've been bawling and pissing your pants in the car had the same happened to you.

You all were in here crying post-AD 2021 that you'd never watch F1 again and here you are glued to the race like always. Fake Coli hotepery.

CTO Mike Elliot has left Mercedes today after 11 years. Who would be a good replacement? I want Binotto!!

This smells of a low key firing. Wasn't he the one responsible for the original direction of the new car?

Interesting, hadn't thought about that. And with three races still to come. Allison must have been given complete reign on developing the W15.

I want to get into this where do I start?

I'd say maybe catch the Las Vegas race in a couple of weeks. There's a race this weekend, but it's a different format than a normal race weekend, so that's probably not ideal for getting into it initially, especially with the championships already decided. Vegas is going to be a regular race weekend with extra pageantry, since it's the first time they're running there.

Also, I've been told this podcast is helpful. These guys do a preseason primer every year that gives an overview of the entire field. This is the one from this year.

Recently most new fans got into it through Drive to Survive, Netflix series about F1. It's more of a reality show than a documentary series, so most storylines are overly dramatized and some outright fake but you will pick up a lot basic info about teams, drivers and the sport through it.

Next race is on Sunday at 12pm. You can skip practices, qualifying and the sprint race and just watch the main race on Sunday. Best way to learn is to watch actual races and if you have any questions you can ask in here.

Also here's a couple of my favorite recent races, 2021 Sao Paolo and 2020 Turkish Grand Prix.
