Cause he is Lewis. He has been pulling up to the Ferraris even when he dropped off for overheating. George dropped and couldnt get back. George doesn't understand what he needs to do to master that stuff. There are clearly levels.

Well that's the thing, no one besides Max has been able to replicate that same type of pace/tire management balance.

I want to know how he does it. Need to do some research.

There's a 4 lap tire offset but he's effectively pulling a Lewis. Kept the tires alive and made the moves stick when he needed to.

Peter Windsor had an interesting take, he also pointed out that Max and Lewis drive differently but acco.plish the same thing.
