You know who the golden boy is. If this was Sainz in that position they would have asked him to hold position.

Makes me remember the times Lewis was told to stop and he obeyed. Mercedes really had that no favorites bullshyt. Otherwise Lews is probably a 9 time champ

Great recovery drive. I didn't expect Lewis to find the pace to make the gap in less than 5 laps, but he did it with 2.5s to spare. The good thing about poor weekends from Lewis is that he takes it personally. Next race weeked should be strong from him.

This is the thing with a lot of these younger drivers. They want to be super aggressive with the squeezing or forcing you off track, but when somebody does the same they don't like it and refuse to back out.

Can't have it both ways. Piastri could have done what Perez did when Leclerc squeezed him. Don't agree with this style of racing but:yeshrug:
Ham sqeezed him, but Oscar should have been thinking long-term. At that point you're no longer racing Lewis. He wasted effort and put himself in a position to have his race ruined.

When he fukks up like this I wonder if he should have retired. Then he pulls out that gap in the final laps.

I am disappointed but still know if he gets the right car the rest of the grid is fukked.

Sparing a thought for Piastri. I hope Lewis gives him an apology.

This isn't the first time I have seen Lewis misjudge things on a straight recently though. I dunno but it worries me.

Ten.:francis: He should have won 07 on track, but still technically won since Sauber and Toyota weren't legal. But Lew/McLaren didn't want to press it due to Spygate and Lew wanting to win it on track. Could have won 2010 without the wheel failure in Spain. And 2021...well... :pacspit:
