The more information comes out the worse Monaco GP looks, this was an embarrassment from beginning till the end :picard:

So there was a power outage that delayed the start and prevented standing starts that they never mentioned. That was just the beginning, the rest of the race was a competition between stewards/FIA and the TV broadcast to see who can be more incompetent.

Apparently Vettel had the most overtakes but we never saw any of them, only couple of Gasly's. Never knew Magnussen retired until they showed him standing and reacting to Mick's crash. Never showed Ocon moving under braking and pushing Hamilton into the wall before the other contact they had. Never showed Sainz and Leclerc getting held back by Williams on their out laps. Missed almost all sector one yellow flags.

For stewards' part they failed to penalize Albon for a whole lap and 21 blue flags on Leclerc's inters outlap :mindblown: Sainz was 'only' held up by Latifi for half a lap on his hard tire outlap which allowed Perez to take the lead, there was no action for that either. Early on Stroll was released directly into a pitting car and avoided a crash by inches which was never investigated or punished.

Perez crossing the yellow line was never shown, Verstappen crossing the yellow line was never noted as 'being investigated' but shown on the broadcast. Apparently Max touched the yellow line but never crossed it, by 2021 rule touching the line was a penalty. Race notes wrongly copied the 2021 rule but that rule is outdated and now has states yellow line has to be crossed :leostare: which might explain why they tried to keep that out of the spotlight.

Ocon's shenanigans against Hamilton were not shown or penalized in timely manner, which would've made him think twice of continuing his blocking instead he was penalized 10-15 laps later.

Hamilton's detractors have been praying for his downfall for seven years now. They've been going at him while he was an F1 champ for 4 consecutive years, visiting dying/sickly children and speaking out against oppressive governments.

Man just had a GOAT recovery drive last week in Spain without a safety car, only rivaled by his own drives in Hungary, Spa and Turkey, but he's getting his cheeks clapped :camby:

You got Paul di Resta with hate pouring out of his every orifice, not even trying to hide it :heh: Nico Rosberg trying but failing to hide his envy, Coulthard biases due to RB connection and Montoya sprinkled in for some more hate. Then on track you have Alonso, FIA targeting him and marshals wishing for his death :picard:

Man has more detractors than Obama had on Fox News during his presidency, this shyt is unprecedented.

Breh don't come in here with the unnecessarily incendiary comments. No one who isn't a Lewis hater and knows racing thinks he's being outperformed. Ross Brawn already told people what it was-- but because it's Lewis, nikkas want to act like they can't absorb the information. I posted the article a few days ago in here.

F1 is only about The Spectacleā„¢ now. The rules are just a suggestion.

I'm fine for them not squabbling over rules if it doesn't put anyone in danger. I don't like claiming technicality on a rule if no one was actually in danger about it. Neither Checo or Max put anyone in danger by slightly being over the yelllow line. That's what the rule is for. It's different than track boundaries.

Alpine is the only team that deserved some sort of sanction for literally telling their driver to ruin the entire race.

For me it's the opposite. If it's a rule meant for safety, then they need to draw a hard line. Didn't somebody get done in within the past couple years for being a little short on the mandatory 1L fuel collection post race? They took it as cut and dry and there was no safety implications there but a sporting breach. Even in your argument, track limits aren't for safety, it's a sporting issue. Perez and Verstappen's infractions were treated as sporting issues rather than the safety issues they were - makes no difference if anyone was in danger at the time, because you could extend that to a pit lane speeding violation on entry/exit.

Alpine and Alonso need their ass beat for that stunt, but that was in their right to do. Shameful as fukk to take a literal Sunday drive around the track while a race is happening. But that shyt shows why they'll probably be on a perpetual 5 year plan until they pull out again at the next cheapest opportunity.
