Another thing I've noticed over the years with the The Theater is people fukking love Tom Cruise in there. Or at the very least they enjoy him :dead:

Which could actually be the general consensus about Tom cruise :ehh:

The Bay
Fuhrer Klin is ballsy
Regardless of what you think of Donavan as a person or his current physique...
He needed to be on the squad for a few reasons

#1 For K's job
The media is gonna have a field day with roasting his ass after we finish 0-3 with like 1 goal
The American media love to point fingers and believe in accountability
They know nothing about soccer and only know Donavan as our big name
Along with Coach K being a sort've dikk in his interviews while also coming off cocky
He will eventually pay for this if we under-perform and will be the medias scapegoat
I see that he is trying to involve his younger players to gain experience
But sometimes you need to put that aside for the bigger picture
Besides,
some of these cats will never play and can experience the World Cup from the stands

#2 For the team
People argue that he hasn't been that involved in the past 3 seasons
True
But when he has...
especially watching him come on as a sub
He created a sense of urgency and fire on the field
Regardless of how fit we argue he is...
watching LD play...
he is still better than majority of our options
Go back and watch the past few matches...
Im not saying he should start
But off the bench down 2-1
There isn't a sub on our roster that can spark us

But in the end...
Fuhrer K knows what he's doing and has been somewhat successful
If success is defined by beating Mexico
(who we've caught at the perfect time the past 4 years)

I hope we succeed
But the media onslaught if we lose all 3 will be crazy...

leave the entire team in the dark brehs.. they gonna fight their hearts out for him now more than ever, surely!!111

well its the world cup. but if this was a club team they'd go on a 5 game losing streak and he'd be out in 2 months.

1. Klinsmann had his contract re-upped earlier this year and it'll end in 2018. Short of a player revolt, he won't get fired.
2. I trust Johannsson or Bedoya to provide more of a spark than Landon. They actually have pace. Donovan can't beat defenders 1 on 1 anymore. He tried against Mexico and in MLS this season and it hasn't worked. Zero goals and 2 assists in seven games this season. Donovan played well in the Gold Cup, but that was against Jamaica and Guatemala. A bunch of minnows.
3. Compared to the Euro media, American media are a bunch of kittens. They won't threaten Klinsmann for shyt.

im coming around to this. a) cant have him going to another English team. If he was going to Italy or Bayern, then I would hope Wumger and co just collect on the transfer fee. 2) he still one of the best passers in the game and can spot great off the ball runs. I think he, Ramsey, and Mesut would be disgusting together. III)No chance Wilshere sees the pitch. :ahh:

its a shock, but he flabby and sick

Who are the runners in this team with Cesc? I would only see him playing at home or in place of Cazorla in big matches. Ramadan and Mesut are the obvious winners here but we would have no pace and I'm worried Cesc would interfere with Ramadan's runs. Secondly, what kind of striker are we looking at with Cesc being bought? I want Benz or Cavani, how can we afford that with Cesc?

No Wilshere :shoo:

He's a loser too, how many times he quit on us or screwed us up? Summer 2011, Barca 2nd Leg come to mind.

Joel Campbell, Ox, Theo in the second half of the season at very least :myman:

You have very good point though. I'm just emotionally attached :noah:

I was thinking about Fab.

Real pickle we have here. Don't want him to go to another English club, but ultimately too expensive to buy and relegate to the bench. He fukks up everything. If anything this side needs pace for Özil to flourish.

So like I said buy all the players :ehh:

Moises Katumbi doc. Owner of TP Mazembe and Governor of Congo's richest province Katanga. Can't find the version with English subtitles so I'm struggling through the French. Looks like great work though.
