If Wenger buys Fabregas :beli:
While I love Fabregas and all, do we REALLY need this him?

I mean where would he play? Does he take Ozil's spot? Does he take Arteta's spot? Or do you want him to play as a false 9? :mjlol:

As much as I would love to see him back, its hard to see where he would play without messing up the dynamics of our team.
im coming around to this. a) cant have him going to another English team. If he was going to Italy or Bayern, then I would hope Wumger and co just collect on the transfer fee. 2) he still one of the best passers in the game and can spot great off the ball runs. I think he, Ramsey, and Mesut would be disgusting together. III)No chance Wilshere sees the pitch. :ahh:
And its a shame what happened to Donavan :aicmon:

You couldn't tell me there was a place on the bench at least :dahell:
its a shock, but he flabby and sick

My guess at the starting X1

Howard; Chandler, Cameron, Besler, Johnson; Jones, Bradley, Bedoya, Dempsey, Zusi, Altidore.

Yeah, that's not gonna scare anyone.

Donovan's been pretty bad this season. And he was quoted as saying that he didn't know he could go 12 days straight in training. :flabbynsick:

Green, Brooks, and Yedlin are essentially earning redshirts. I've been cooking the past hour over so many analysts mad that Julian Green made the roster and Donovan didn't.
Having Donovan on the roster wasnt gonna scare anyone anyway breh.

The roster is solid. Better hope Dempsey can carry the team and Altidore finds his shooting boots again.

Side note:

Jurgen may work with the 4-4-2 diamond and have Beckerman playing deep and Dempsey up top with Altidore.

You explained it perfectly. Remember Fab was a box to box, rabid CM before our switch to 433 and him becoming our number 10. He can play that pivot Role next to Ramsey...in fact, many people never thought he'd excel in the number 10 role. He was slow, and small...that center mid Pep role was supposed to be his final development. Keeps Arteta and Jack on the bench, or as serviceable subs/ replacements for the inevitable injuries. It honestly makes TOO much sense....we have to get him back :noah: @Montez @Gooner

Makes sense. Zusi and Bradley in the central midfield with Bedoya sitting behind the forwards.

People only only scared of Landon's rep. Actual fact is that he's a 32 year old mid who's lost his speed and hasn't scored a goal this season in MLS.

slow down breh, he was never that. :whoa:

the 433/4231 was BECAUSE of Cesc being a liability in a 2-man midfield. I think he and Ramadan can work because Ramadan is the best midfielder in football and works with everyone, but signing Cesc is not imperative.

I guess I get the whole grab him before another English team takes him...but Fab working in a pivot?? It seems like too much of a defensive liability. I mean Fab had Gilberto working with him earlier in his career to help, so it worked out. But idk about asking Ramadan to do more defensive work. It seems like a waste of Ramadan's attacking talents.

In the end I'd prefer us to go in for a proper DM. Preferably with pace, power, and an abundance of melanin

The width is gonna have to come from Beasley and whoever plays on the right. Chandler would be my guess.

Unless he's planning on making subs and changing the shape midway thru and bringing Yedlin on for pace
