Why are there so many of these brehs in Canada then
?Economies dominated by oil tend to have that sector crowding out everything else and the fact that they are not as labor intensive means not everyone can eat unless you have a very small population and produce many barrels per day like Kuwait, Qatar, and Norway. Naturally state involvement sometimes ends up with a few politicians eating and the Gulf countries probably produce so much of the stuff that they end up creating welfare states and giving citizens the left over money after they eat. I maybe wrong about Trinidad but commodity based economies tend to have similar structures.
