Chelsea needs to completely overhaul the team.

I would cash in on Eden Hazard (and possibly Courtois) and rebuild the entire team with young prospects from the other top European leagues combined with young players from the Academy and Reserves. The only +25 players I'd keep are Willian, Morata, Azpilicueta and Kante. Everyone else from the old guard can go (you'd have to keep a few English players to meet quotas). The defense (wings) and midfield (especially central) need to be completely overhauled. They need to give Fabregas a ticket back to Spain to finish his career there.

Chelsea should have thrown serious money at Emenalo when he asked to resign. Crazy to think this club had both De Bruyne and Salah at one point....heck, even Lukaku.

Its insane how much better the side looks with Miky, Lacazette and Pierre on the pitch at the same time. Even Rambo balls harder when he's got Laca in front of him.

A CDM and a new Centre-Half and the the gunners are looking better for next season.......

Still need a new manager though :smugwenger:

I'd go
  1. France 98. Every game was an event, you had gather great Dutch Brazilian, French teams, Jamaica qualified, England fukkery, bergkamp goal, Ronaldo in the final fukkery, David beckham/Diego simeone fukkery, blanco jump and the Mexican keepers kit, USA vs Iran
  2. Germany 06. Zidane/Materazzi fukkery, grosso's goal, the golden generation and their WAGs, Netherlands vs Portugal fukkery, peter crouch pulling on Sancho's dreads to score a header
  3. Korea/Japan 02. Ronaldo redemption, Beckhams redemption Ronaldinhos goal vs England, Italy vs Korea fukkery, Cameroon's kits, Senegal beating France on the opening day and France subsequently finishing bottom of their group, Rio's bogle vs Denmark, Ireland vs Spain and the Nike cage match advertising campaign
  4. Brazil 14. Apart from the protests, it was quiet for off the field fukkery surprisingly, but made up for it on the fried with Suarez fukkery, Messi practically dragging Argentina to the final, van Persies header, Belgium vs USA, Colombia's and Ghana's goal celebrations, Algeria vs Germany fukkery and of course the dismemberment of Brazil at the hands of Germany
  5. South Africa 10. Pretty boring, although France provided a lot off entertainment off the field, Quagliarella's goal, Wayne Rooney berating England fans, Chile were great, Spain were, obviously unstoppable and you had Paul the octopus
I was born in 96' so can't remember that many wc but Uruguay - Ghana 2010 is probably the craziest and most exciting wc game i've watched

Top to bottom, it's a terribly run club. An owner who doesn't really want to be there, but wants to be the PL, but won't spend to help the club compete.

Majority of the managers hired are either midtable/relegation specialists or they pass their sell by date.

They need to reboot and overhaul the structure of the club and use Southampton as the model on how they should move forward.

Roman needs to stop running the team like a damn business. Dont matter what overhaul we use, chelsea loves to develop young talent and then sell them. It seems like Roman is trying to cash in on his long term investment :francis:

Best World Cups I’ve watched were 98 and 06. I thought 2002 was awful outside of Senegal. 2010 was underwhelming. 14 in the middle of the pack.

In order:
98
06
14
02

2002 world cup was a nightmare in the UK :mjlol: most matches would be around 6am and most of the time I had to get up around that time for school..still remember watching Nigeria/England and Ronaldhinio making David Seaman looking like a clown. My mum recorded the final...Ronaldo masterclass :wow:

2006 I enjoyed, 2010 was decent and 2014 was so-so....only remember 1998 via cassette tapes :russ:
