The decline of Dinho happened in 06. I called it all the way back then. He was awful in the CL final, was terrible in the World Cup, that Kaka had to carry the :flabbynsick: sorry @Hollister and @THEREALBRAND . Then there is the famous photo of him vs Liverpool with his shirt off him looking :flabbynsick:. Or the alleged groin injury which was a Jordan-esque ban because he failed a in house drugs test and would of been banned and they wouldn't of gotten any money for him. He terrible in his first season at Milan and he only played well in his second because he wanted to go to the World Cup, but the 2nd Best Dressed coach in the world (1st is Tony Pulis) didn't pick him and he went back to type.

If Biscuits wasn't an utter scumbag with his antics, he would get more props. Maybe this generation Deschamps.

He kind of lost the desire of the game a bit after winning the World Cup in 2002, it seems that winning the WC meant so much more back then, he did have a couple of amazing seasons at Barcelona, and they almost bottled that Champions League final, but at that period playing and even winning the CL wasnt as magical as it is now, for brazilians at least.

Brazil had the goatest team in 2006, Ronaldo, Dinho, Robinho, Adriano, Kaka and we failed miserably. R10 was almost done for, professionally speaking, at that time, all he wanted to do was throw up the hang loose and nutmeg a cac or two

 That squad

Tammy Abraham :cassumad:

If Southgate wasn't a numpty and wanting to play with 2 holders it isn't that bad, tbh. That 3421 been exposed this season, that 2 man middle will get over run. If he tweaked it to as 3142 it isn't that bad.

Maguire Stones Gomez
Dier
Walker Alli/Lallana/Wheelchair Rose
Sterling Rashford

No real reference point upfront, but the pace and movement of Sterling and Rashford would be good for Alli and Lallana who would drift into the open space.

Then when Harold comes back, switch him out for Rashford.

If you play 3 at the back, you don't need to be playing 2 holders as well, especially against Slovenia. You handicapping the team that is already short on creativity even more.

can you even imagine a player like gaugho with cristiano's motivation ?

still remember that goal against real when he went through their defence to score past casillas like he was playing against real madrid U15s

From the very first game vs Croatia, something didn't look right with that team. The CB and the DM were the only players who could defend and Cafu and R.Carlos legs had gone and then the square did what it wanted.

The 05 team that put Argentina in a bodybag was :whew:.

When Juanfran was a flying winger and Sergio Garcia was supposed to be that boy!

R10 is like Roy Jones Jr where I just focus on the heights of their respective careers, and mentally block out the rest.

R10 was just collecting a check for the last decade. He would have his moments, but overall it was hard to watch. Him playing for Querétaro in Liga MX was the equivalent of RJJ having bare knuckle fights in Russia.

Goalkeeper gonna have nightmares from this night :mjcry:

Griezmann showed no mercy :banderas:

It was amazing seeing El Niño with a brace.

He's meant so much to the team over the years. I didn't want his last meaningful moments to be him out there looking :flabbynsick:
