AS Futbol reports that David Villa is set to sign a three-year deal with New York City, the new team set up by the owners of Manchester City.
NYC FC won't actually start playing until the 2015 MLS season (which starts in March), so if the deal was to go through, he'd likely be loaned back to Atletico for the majority of the forthcoming season.

been waiting for this! Conrad and crew finally get to Ghana. No bullshyt about Cristiano or Bayern or blah blah here - the parts in Portugal and Germany were pretty disappointing tbh.
