Atalanta not especially fast either, but Liverpool can't seem to pass around them this half, and Atalanta still pushing forward when given a chance. Just a weird night. Run at this team and put them to the sword.

They had us locked down from the first whistle. They organisation and press/marking was A1. Doesn't help that we didn't take our chances and overall lackadaisical approach.

Yea I never quite understood people claiming the Prem was the best league if against other Euro clubs they fail to win consistently, especially when a trophy is on the line.

Leverkusen, even if they don't go invincible are very impressive. Competing for all trophies. Them guys with that mini gold trophy didn't win any domestic cup or European cup and drew alot of games.
