Eze and Olise so fun to watch. Beating people 1v1, can draw double team and create space for others. We'd be winning 5-0 right now if we had them.

Meanwhile, Havertz and Mount when they have the ball:

Got rid of Mount & Havertz for a combined 125m and are about to sign Olise for 35m.

This is what dreams are made of. :wow:

CAF reveals new format for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers | CAFOnline.com

This new WCQ format is very good from CAF. Simple and straight forward. Gotta give them their kudos for this one.

54 member nations for 9 groups of 6. 10 games played and winner of each group goes to the WC.

The top 4 group runner-ups enter playoffs for the 1 intercontinental WC playoff spot allocated to CAF.

Jul 13th is the draw for WCQ groups. Starts at 3PM GMT/11am EST and can be watched on CAF online.

Not too many surprises in terms of seeding although Burkina Faso will definitely be the team everyone in Pot 1 wants to avoid.

At least no BS Cameroon vs CIV in the group stages like in the 2022 WCQ :francis:

It's still crazy, because you basically have to win one big group, they should have had done best 8 runner ups to the playoffs.

Look at how much more forgiving Asia's qualifying is for their 8 spots.
