Managing Rangers is like driving a F1 Ferrari or Mercedes. You’ve got the best vehicles so an above competent driver should be doing well.

Gerrard, just like Lampard, had the red carpet rolled out for a top job, whilst Vieira didn’t have similar luxuries and had to ply his trade and look at how it has paid off.

I’ll laugh when the former two get sacked. Being in the good ol’ boys club can’t hide incompetence.

:beli: about luxuries

Vieira got the New York job because he was part of the Citeh group.

I guess you thought Zidane deserved the Real job the first time around?

My bad. Vieira managing the Man City reserves team was a figment of my imagination. And it’s ironic you
Mentioned Zidane because he did the same thing managing Madrid’s reserve team and look at his success.

I watched Jesus at City and he never seemed this dynamic. Either due to Pep limiting his creative freedom or/and lack of playing time.
100% pep turned him into a robot. I barely remember him dribbling past people in a City shirt.

Tracking back ,One twos and taps ins at the back post was the City version.
