it shouldnt be impossible to buy 3 first team players, find a clever championship buy like Robertson, find 2 clever frees out there and then promote 3-4 youths.

it will be because this club is inept but it shouldnt be.

True, especially for a club like Utd.

My point is just that if people are expecting to see 8 or 9 new players in the starting lineup next season that just won't happen. Players like Fred and McTominay will still be here next season getting a lot of game time.

If there is a change, it will take place over time however having said that, I will still expect the club to compete, especially in the cup competitions.
