Sure Roma is not a huge team but it's not like he's coming over from Real Madrid, he was at Tottenham :hubie:

They have won more leagues than spurs.

They have a bigger ground than spurs (and Juve)

They are the no1. team in the Italian capital.

They are the #4 team in Italy and that's bigger than Chelsea were when Jose took over.

It is one team down from his job at Inter.

Yes really. Yuth them don't know notthin about football heritage.

1 more league title than Spurs doesn't really represent the huge history you're implying.

They have a bigger ground that is an absolute shyt hole, one they have been trying to leave for years but can't because they're broke. Juve's may be smaller in capacity but it's a modern stadium.

You brehs are stuck in the past and don't understand the new financial reality.

Roma is a middling Italian club today and its absolutely fitting for current Mourinho to end up there.

Moving from a top 6 Premier League club to Roma is absolutely a step down. :tu:

:mjlol::camby:

more coli classics ..

and I suppose you think Chelsea were a bigger team than Roma when Jose took over in 2004.

NEWSFLASH - Jose has only ever been at two massive clubs .. Real and Man Utd. Reason? There aren't that many clubs of that size.

His other jobs have been around the Roma level - i.e. Spurs, Porto - with Inter, Chelsea a little bit above that.

That is how it is for coaches who manage lots of European clubs - see Ancelotti, Robson, Hitzfeld, Hiddink, LvG etc etc. That is how it has been for decades.

Those who work their way up and stay at the most powerful clubs are few and far between (Zidane, SAF, Pep so far etc) and they are very much the exceptions.

As a normal-lish human being Jose (and people like him) are unlikely to find the constraints of Germany to their liking so that leaves three big leagues and a handful of teams in each tier.

Stick to NFL / Basketball

good to see Jose back in Serie A.

wrong team though, that Roma squad is a nice footballing team with potential that's weakness is that they get done on the counter.
funny enough, he would work wonders with that rugged, older Lazio team.
