Pool cooked Leicester the whole match, the win should've been more definitive though. Whether Mane delayed his "dive" or not Aldimton stepped on Mane's foot. Wonder how long this win-streak will last though

Y'all wanted VAR so bad too :yeshrug:

People only want correct decisions when it benefits their teams/agendas. Footballers have more control over their own fates on the pitch than ever.

  • If you strike the ball and it crosses the line it's a goal.
  • If you're standing offside then you're offside and the defenders don't get screwed.
  • If you're standing onside and you put the ball in the net your goal can't be taken away from you for offside.
  • You kick someone in the box it's a penalty, you kick them out of the box it's a free kick and vice versa if you're the one getting kicked.
  • If someone uses their hand/arm to control the ball and a goal is scored the goal doesn't count so you don't get screwed.
That's a square deal and the game's about as close to a meritocracy as it's going to be. VAR takes most of the guess work out of officiating but people are bytching like VAR and the rest of the referees are hacking these players brains and forcing them to make the decisions they make. Tough for Albrighton and Leicester but maybe there wouldn't have been a penalty if he didn't kick Mane :ohhh:.

Liverpool have that 2014 luck, they might actually do it. :picard:
We all know what happened at the end of that season though right?
