So it goes as 14.1 1st ball, 2nd 14.2 etc etc Overs are no different from Baseball innings really, like 1,2,3 etc in the ODI game

Then you get wides and no-ball which is crciket version of balls in baseball. The bowler has to bowl 6 legal deliveries for that to count as an over.
