Messi just needs to realize it's not gonna happen for him. It's not a good or bad thing it just happens. Doesn't necessarily take away from his greatness. He has still done and continues to do great things on the pitch just not with his country. It could be pressure but that then has to be on him because the team is built around him yet nobody is in sync. Argentina gotta regroup and rethink everything.

A team, B team or C team, Mexico is the strongest team in CONCACAF and should win the gold cup.

But don't underestimate the reggae boyz.

The team may be built around him, but they don't have the complimentary players to get the best out of him. We've seen it with Barca, once Messi drops deeper and deeper to get on the ball, it makes the job easier for the opposition defence.

Also it doesn't help that the Argentine players don't take the initiative themselves to make something happen. Messi needs space, when he isn't going to get, as every pass in the attack is going to him and with little to no movement from midfield or flanks to help him, you get the Argentina Messi and not the Barca version of him.

It is what it is I didn’t expect Haiti to beat Mexico. However they defended real well. But their ball control is atrocious. :francis:
Breh I would be ecstatic if I were you. Their FIFA ranking will skyrocket soon. This team, under this manager, has a real chance to make the Hex with Honduras and Costa Rica trending downwards. They showed serious discipline and organization, and showed ability to finish on the counter throughout this tournament. Do they play their home matches in Haiti? I will be following them througout WCQ.

He's no Ronaldo on the international stage :sas2:
