Napoli have had 6 top 3 finishes since 09/10. Half of those top 3 finishes have been 2nd. You can argue Roma have more 2nds with 4, but they have no silverware and failed to get to the group stages in Europe 3 times.
2 Coppa wins joint with Inter, whose last one was in 10/11 and have played in Europe the past 9 seasons, secondly only to Juve.

i skip those other years because those they finished second, my point was to show they have not been the second best team in the league over the last 10 YEARS. that's whay u said. its been between them and roma for the most part. the league is the bread and butter for these teams. Like for example in the last ten years i would say chelsea and city have been the best they have actually won the league. roma and napoli have done well to compete with Juve but neither one have won the league in the last 10 years, both came close but no cigar.
But my initial statement was not to brush off napoli as if arsenal are on top of the league or something. that is all

, teams that finish in 4th or 6th can win a cup lol that dont make them a great. cup games have alot luck involve, teams usually field weaker team etc. relegated teams can win a cup my manu can win all the copas, fa cups in the world . but if dont compete in the league then
and both roma and napoli have done reasonably well taking into considerations their budgets. so they both have been the best teams in italy outside of juve. roma fell off cuzz their deference is atrocious.

yes u right recent history does show that big team is more likely to win. still in a cup, small teams do have a chance to win,and have also won. they also have much better chance to get to finals, than compare to a champions. it stil doesn't negate the fact that they have won and can win. Ur acting like its some type of anomaly for small teams to win it or even reach the finals
Arsenal have won a few cups recently, nobody would say they were the second best team in england, not even delusional arsenal fans would say that. United won under Van gaal again nobody in their gotdamn mind
would say that team was one the best that year. shyt chelsea won the champions in 2012, and in that year they were not the best or 2nd best , neither was liverpool in 2005. nobody would say they were the best in their country, because the standings showed them not even been good enough to qualify from the league standings.this whole thing started with me saying that napoli have been the 2nd best team in italy the last 3 years, and the TABLE would back me up. u said the last 10 years. i showed based on the league that was not true. you argued that them winning domestic cups during that time period made them the 2nd best
i countered with that lesser teams have won in the past domestic cups, dont meant they are the 2nd or 3rd best, they just happened to beat other teams that sometimes were better than them in a one off. Again arsenal have won 2 domestic cups recently nobody on gods greens earth looking at their league form would say they were the second best team in the league. 
maybe 4th best same with Man UIf liverpool ( andy carrol) had beaten chelsea in that fa cup nobody would say they were the 3rd or fourth them nikkas were 8th and chelsea 6. these two were not better than city, united arsenal ,spurs and even newcastle THAT YEAR DUE TO THE STANDINGS ON THE TABLE. they were rubbish
