That loss to Chelsea in the EFL cup seemed to knock the stuffing out of us. Prior to that we had won everything comfortably

You mean the first time you guys were truly tested you lost?!

Didn't think he would make a great manager tbh...based on his punditry.

I think with Henry, if in the right situation, he can excel. His philosophy will be Pep/Wenger like, which means he'll need at least 6 weeks ( which is the 6 weeks of pre-season) to implement. Unfortunately for him, the team he went to is Young, Dumb and full of Cum and in relegation zone. If Jardim who is far more experienced than Henry struggled, than so will he because the squad was gutted. In any sport if you get rid of the best players all the time, sooner or later it will have an effect. Also it's easier to put in place a defensive counterattack style than ball possession style, especially if a team is struggling.

Don't have scary vibe in important games. Yeah they beat City in the CL, but that's all they got in a decade if we keeping it about it about it tbh.

Nationalistic Serbians out chanting English fans, what is new? Them brehs live for it. You think Universal credit man really about that life.

Long Live The Kane :seckle:

Greatest CAC of all time

Harold ain't saved us from the Ze Germans like Winston or defecated in Munich like Mickey O or Jeremy Goss has done. False prophet tbh.

Old school number 9? Like Drogba? Icardi is not that. He is a poacher and definitely would eat in the premier league.

I don't blames brehs not knowing what a CF #9 is, but at least they know Lukaku ain't one, so that is a start.

Ehhh...I think the reference was to an out and out in the box striker. Old School no nonsense finisher.

Man dem grew up on Ronaldo , Shevechenko , Eto'o , Adriano & em

Battering ram forward.

Duncan Ferguson, Kevin Davies, D Diddy, Shearer, Vieri, Ibra, Toni, Costa, Ferdinand. Who will cause a nuisance with their physicality, by battering the phuck out of the CB's. You play the ball up to them and it sticks.

Manchester City Exposed Chapter 3: Recruiting Pep Guardiola - SPIEGEL ONLINE

Isn't it obvious these "leaks" are just by Hoeness and the salty Bayern board.

i was starting to think that especially when i read it was suggesting we tapped pep up prior to him leaving. when doesnt that happen for other managers.

actually half of this shyt thats being "leaked" when doesnt half of it happen. and the other half is pointless complaining. Actually in regards to bayern. Their 3 sponsors all own a share of the club. each hold 8.33%. So i still have yet to see a "Crime" that City have commited. seems like a lot of jealousy of the brown guys who are running their club to win and make a profit.

i want to see an investigation into club owners who are crippling their clubs finances and taking money away from the club.

That is true, but some have come to think of the Old School No. 9 as an in the box poacher

a la Pippo, Chicarito, Ruud Boy, Higuain

Yeah Bayerns owners sponsor their own team and signed them to a record kit deal - no one bats an eyelid. Liverpool have new balace, newcastle have sports direct, Leicester have King Power but it's OK. When it comes to City sponsoring themselves every cent is counted.

The funny part is they claim that City have media influence and get stories that aren't favourable to them thrown out. This isn't true at all. Media hates us, begrudgingly gives us credit no matter what we do. If you remember last year around this time, when we were on that 18 game winning run, stories came up about human rights abuses and they blamed City's owners.

It's just a big joke and makes it look like they've given up trying to beat us on the pitch.

I don't think @Yayo Toure or @Black Magisterialness would like to be tainted with that :skip:

Yeah, I'm American...I don't like City never have and I don't even like Raheem that much. But I would never deny his talent. He's consistently improved, he's with the right manager and he's in the right place. If Raheem Sterling was some white kid from Millwall England would be having a collective nut bust over him singing "He's one of our own" every possession. :comeon:

We should wait to see if his improvement translate to CL success before putting him up there with Messi and Hazard.

Totally fair. You'll get no argument from me here. But to be fair Hazard's never won UCL either.
