I don’t understand why they don’t do that at this point. Theatrics and playing hurt are the two things I hate the most.
I’ve heard every type of excuse and the one I can’t stand is “it’s cultural”. Heard a talking head pundit guy talking about how in certain South American leagues/cultures the “dark arts” of conning a referee is a part of their game so to retroactively punish stuff like this is going to make football too “uniform”.
